This policy explains how Loksteppe Pty Ltd ("Loksteppe", "we", "us") handles personal information on loksteppe.com. We are based in Sydney, Australia. We follow the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
We collect what you give us, and a little about how you use this site.
- Contact details you enter in a form or a meeting booking, such as your name, email address, phone number, company and role.
- Anything you write to us in a form or an email, including questions about your sales, marketing or HubSpot setup.
- Website data, such as your IP address, browser type, device, pages viewed, and the page or ad you came from. We collect this with cookies and similar tools.
Why we collect it
- To reply to you and run the call you booked.
- To work out whether we can help you, and to send you a proposal if we can.
- To send you information you asked for. You can unsubscribe from any marketing email at any time.
- To understand how the site is used and to improve it.
- To meet our legal obligations.
Cookies and tracking
This site uses cookies to remember your visit and measure how the site performs. We use HubSpot's tracking code to link visits and form submissions to a contact record. We may also use advertising tools from Google or Meta to measure ads. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site still works without them.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the business, such as:
- HubSpot, which hosts this website and holds our contact and meeting records.
- Google, which provides the fonts this site loads and may provide analytics or advertising tools.
- Our email and calendar providers.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
Overseas storage
Some of these providers store or process data outside Australia, including in the United States and other countries. By giving us your information you accept this. We choose providers that have their own privacy and security commitments.
How we keep it safe
Your information is held in password-protected business systems. We limit access to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise that nothing will ever go wrong.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while we are in touch with you and for as long as we need it for business or legal reasons. After that we delete it or remove anything that identifies you.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it. Email consult@loksteppe.com. We will reply within a reasonable time, normally within 30 days.
Complaints
If you think we have mishandled your information, email us first and we will look into it. If you are not happy with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
